MillStone Course Kick-Off!
Our new MillStone Entrepreneurship and Innovation course has begun! We started our year off by checking in with our student teams to get an update on the research and collaboration they began over the summer. Student teams chose corporate roles for each of the members: leadership, finance, technology and marketing. Teams also began to consider and discuss what avenue to pursue under the year-long theme of Assistive Technology.
We then discussed Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) and their importance when developing new products. Teams then took time to research and write their own NDAs that where then shared with all participants of the MiLLStone course. The next step for teams is to develop a problem statement, which is a clearly written explanation of what challenge each team would like to address.
